Welcome to FormulaWars.com ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, available at https://www.formulawars.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by 1575828 B.C. LTD., doing business as Formula Wars. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Site.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must register for an account to access certain features of the Site. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and keep it updated. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

2. User Content and Submissions

You may submit solutions and other content through the Site ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, store, display, reproduce, distribute, adapt, modify, publish, and create derivative works of your submissions for any purpose related to the Site's operation, improvement, or promotion.

You represent that you have the necessary rights to provide the User Content and that your submissions do not infringe or violate any third party's rights.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including but not limited to the platform, design, software, problem sets, and branding, is owned or licensed by Formula Wars and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except as explicitly allowed by these Terms, you may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Site.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws in your use of the Site.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site.
  • Interfere with the Site's security or functionality.
  • Upload or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on others' rights.

5. Privacy

We collect and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy. This includes:

  • Your email address,
  • Activity and progress on the platform,
  • Solutions and other content you submit.

We do not share personal data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.

6. Pro Plan and Payments

We currently offer paid features, including a Lifetime Pro plan, in addition to free access. Plan features and pricing are shown on the Site at the time of purchase and may change for future purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. Refunds are available only if requested within 30 days of purchase and only if no Pro feature has been used on your account; otherwise purchases are non-refundable, except where required by law.

7. Third-Party Services

We may integrate with third-party services, such as Stripe for payments and third-party login providers (e.g., Google). We may add, remove, or change login providers over time. Your use of those services will be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms or any applicable law. You may also delete your account at any time.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Formula Wars, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Site,
  • Your User Content,
  • Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Formula Wars shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Site.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will notify you (e.g., via email or a notice on the Site). Continued use of the Site after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Site.
